Unbelievable to know that a gems store can have a train ride to show about gems and excavation procedures. The store is so big it will take you at least 4 to 6 hours to explore completely. Jewellery designs are unbelievable.

Is the gold real 22k / 916 hallmark?
Yes. Indian-style jewelry sold by Gems Gallery is crafted in 22-carat (916) hallmark gold to match Indian wedding-market standards. Each piece is stamped and accompanied by a purity certificate. Gems Gallery also offers 18k for fashion/diamond pieces and 24k for investment.
How do I know my Pukhraj / Neelam / Navratna is genuine?
Every astrological gemstone sold at Gems Gallery comes with a certificate from an independent lab — typically GIT (Thailand's national gem lab), GIA, IGI, or AIGS. The certificate states origin, treatment, and weight. Gems Gallery does not sell synthetic, glass-filled, or heavily treated stones in their Vedic section.
How do I bring the jewelry to India?
Hand-carry. Indian male passengers can bring up to ₹50,000 worth of gold jewelry duty-free; female passengers up to ₹1,00,000. Gems Gallery provides VAT-refund paperwork at checkout so you can claim 7% back at Bangkok airport. Beyond duty-free limits, you declare on arrival in India.
What about Indian customs duty on gold?
For personal carriage: Indian male passengers can carry up to ₹50,000 worth of gold jewelry duty-free; female passengers up to ₹1,00,000 (subject to current rules). Beyond that, duty applies. Gems Gallery will explain options at the showroom and provide invoices in the format Indian customs expects.
